Polar Wearlink Band...yay or nay?

I have a polar F6 which I've had and used for many years and it's still going strong but I know someday sooner or later it's going to die. I'm looking at getting a polar wearlink band to synch via bluetooth to my phone when I do biking/walking/running and track it via Runkeeper and synch it to MFP.
Side note,....I did try a Garmin HRM for a while and I just didn't like it and I don't want to spend the money on a super high tech GPS/HRM.
Anyone currently do this? Pros? Cons?

I read some reviews on Amazon about it and another one. The biggest complaint with the polar one is that it kept losing signal with the phone. Zephyr is the other brand and people said it had less of that issue. I am thinking of getting one too. Leaning towards the Zephyr.0

I'll have to look into the Zephyr one. I'm kinda attached to the Polar brand though0

I just bought one off of eBay. I think it's the H7 model. I don't know if that is the same one you're looking at or not. I've had mine for about a month or so. I love it!!!! Have not had any issues with losing connections. I have used it mainly for runs but I'm looking at using it for other workouts too. I use mapmyfitness with it.0
