    I would never want to pass up Halloween. It's my favorite. As far as I'm concerned, I can decorate for Halloween on Sept 1. Xmas decorations go up day after Thanksgiving.

    My lights are still up from last year....I hate getting the ladder out and going up and down and up and down every year in the cold...

    Solid idea.

    We used to keep them up all year when I was living with roommates and then we would turn them on when we would have one of our epic parties...you know the kind where when you wake up the next morning and people are passed out everywhere, you're asking everyone if they know this person or that person and it turns out that they saw the lights and the party and just pulled in and shared in the festivities.

    Christmas lights...not just for Christmas anymore.

    If you celebrate Christmas in JULY sure....

    I refuse to put Christmas up until at least November....December if I can help it...but the husband gets mopey and I usually cave so November it is.
