Hey beautiful people!!(:
Is it okay to go over in fiber and protein?
Also, I go over my sugar every single day, but a lot of it is from fruit (feel free to look at my diary!)
Carbs are kind of hard for me too
So any advice, feedback, or experience? Thanks in advance!(:

It's fine to go over fiber and protein not sure why mfp puts it in red...0

If you like fruit, try perhaps having porridge in a morning and put some grapes, strawberries, blueberries (whatever) in with it. I use Quaker Oats porridge in a sachet (golden syrup flavor) mix with 180ML of skimmed milk, put it in the microwave for 2 minutes, take it out, add fruit, and voila! A healthy low carb filling breakfast. Assuming you ate toast/bread with your breakfast, that would be one way of substituting some carbs at least!
Also, swap out rice for quinoa perhaps?0 -
As long as it doesn't upset your stomach, feel free to eat extra fiber and protein. The limits are based on FDA guidelines for proper diet, but going over a particular macro without blowing your calories or severely depriving one of your other macros is fine. As for sugar, the MFP number only applies to added sugar, based on national recommendations. Your diary, however, rarely distinguished between added and natural sugar, so don't stress it too much. If you're hitting your macros, it is unlikely you are eating an unhealthy amount of added sugar.0

If you aren't actively trying to lose weight, and are really physically active, I wouldn't worry about the fruit sugars so much. The carbs are over because the sugar is over.
If you want to cut sugar, lose the bars . Looking at your diary, that's the only thing that really stands out.
No, fiber and protein overages are fine.0 -

I'm no expert on this but I do believe that too much protein can harm your kidneys IF you are not burning it off otherwise (hard workouts inducing muscle growth). A good question for a nutritionist.0
