Hi All....Basically I am a thirty year old mum of two who works part time. I have struggled with my weight all my life fluctuating from a UK size 8 to a UK size 16 (My current size on top atm) I never dieted until I had my first child at 25 where I did weight watchers....Yes it worked but like a fool I stuck to the kick start points lost two stone and two and a half years later had crept back up to 12 and a half stone.

At that time I was getting married and stupidly bought a months worth of exante which is like the cambridge diet...Lost one stone (As i kept binging) but ballooned by Christmas....I am sick of being FAT! I am sick of losing two stone and it coming back, time and time again! I dont want to be on a diet where I am obsessed by what I cant eat....It can be pure torture!!
Sooo I know not all people agree and thats cool if you are on a low calorie diet you have to do whats right for you but my own personal experience over the past five years has shown that a LCD is not right for me.

I weigh 191lbs (13st7lbs) atm and I HATE it! Therefore I have finally decided that it is the time now, no quick fix, no not eating carbs, no not drinking liqiud for my days meals, NADA oh and I will be allowing myself a treat night at the weekend providing that I stick to my eating plan and finally do some excercise.

I do not excercise but I am willing to change that, why? Because I am vain.... I have no definition in my legs just big wobbly thighs - not pretty, really flabby arms, celulite and a whopping great tummy that makes me look pregnant....oh and dont get me started on the back flab!!!

So how do I go about this mahusive change?? This is where I need you guys to say that I am on the right path....
I went on Scoobys site and figured out my BMR and my TDEE then I read some guys site (mommamuscles - genuis in my eyes...) And have come to this conclusion.

I will eat -15% of my TDEE which is 1686 cals a day ( My TDEE is 1984 and BMR is 1653) (Oh I am 5ft7 btw). I have an excercise bike and I noticed on Scoobys site that he has a work out programme for 30 mins a day - this is feasible to me as I do not EXCERCISE at all at the moment (Hence the lard thighs) 3 days strength training with dumbells (hand weights) and two days cardio (excercise bike) Im never gonna be a gym buddy because lack of time and money stop me but this I can work around my life.

I will start on 2.5lb weights and slowly up them (When I feel that the 2.5lbs are easy I will go to 5lbs ect.)

With my excercising if I actually stick to it (And at this time I really want to mean it....) I will adjust my TDEE to light/moderate activity and up my cals, I also will update my TDEE every 5lbs loss. I'm hoping that I can shift 41 - 45lbs in one year.

The reason I'm not doing -20% is because I get to hungry and when I'm hungry I get angry (lol) and my husabnd and kids point out that I am not a joy to be around..... ultimaltey life is for living and I dont want to not live for five months or so just to be slimmer if it takes double the time but I am happy doing that then well I guess that works for me.

Anyway just introduing myself and hoping that you guys out there can advise me if this is realistic and share with me your wonderfully positive TDEE diet stories for motivation :D

The plan sounds good. Stick to that for 2 months. Drink a lot of water and moisturize tour body with cream in the areas where you have the most skin to lose. After 2 months, when you have build endurance and be used to your exercise routine do the Jillian Michaels 30ds shred. It is free on youtube. Then you can move to different videos. Do not try to do everything together immediately as it would put too much stress on your body. Slow and steady will get you there and you will learn to live with the new lifestyle.

You can try jefit.com so you can see how to do the strength training exercises properly. The ap has animated videos you can put on your smartphone. Or you can try bodybuilding.com to watch videos on exercise, muscles worked, and proper form for body exercises and dumb bell ones.
