8lbs lost in first week...

I'm really buzzing just now after losing 8lbs in week 1, and am already seeing differences around my face/ chin area. Also feel a real energy boost through the exercise I've started doing.

I know it won't be this easy to lose the rest of my weight but just wondered if losing this amount quickly is ok? I don't feel any adverse effects but somedays I'm well under my calorie goal with the exercise calories deducted.

Can anyone advise?

    If you're eating enough and not overexercising then just allow your body to do it's thing. Usually at the beginning the weight comes off pretty quickly so don't expect to lose at this rate forever, but for now enjoy it :)

    Men do lose faster but it's probably water weight and doubt will happen in week two and beyond.

    Seems a little much for one week but I very a great deal from week to week.
    Make sure you got your activity level right as well.
    If it works keep doing it.
    If you lose to fast may stall you out later though.

    Some of it might be water...but who cares? It's 8lbs off, congrats on your loss!!
