NSV's, Goal Bikini and Progress Pics!

So, almost every week this happens to me and I still am amazed by it. I always say to myself "you're not trying hard enough, if you don't keep working at this. it won't happen" and I have this constant feeling that I'm stuck but somehow I've yet again seen progress in the mirror and in my daily life.
Saturday I had to move my tack trunk at my barn and it was very VERY heavy (~60+ lb). It's large and bulky and I had to pick it up and move it across property. For someone who had a major back injury less than a year ago, this gave me some anxiety. But!!!!! I grabbed it, lifted with my legs and carried it across my barn without any strain or pain!!
Then I got home later that afternoon, thought to sit down and watch a movie to relax. I made it through about 40 minutes before I felt guilty and just had to much energy to kick it on my tush. I live next to a lake/public park so I decided I would just wander around the public park with my dog, looking at the sculpture garden there to at least get out of the house.
Well, I walked through the gardens for about 30/40 minutes and was still not feeling too put out so I figured why not just walk around the whole lake? I started walking and then I thought "I bet I can jog from here to the next corner" and I did! Then I did it again after walking a ways- "I'm SURE I can job from here to that light post." I did this FIVE TIMES!! I jogged almost 2 miles, all told, after covering almost 5 miles total. It was AWESOME!!
Then yesterday morning, I woke up and figured it had been a few days since I'd taken pictures so I decided to snap a few. This is the first time I've felt comfortable showing a full frontal shot of me without anything to cover up. Please be kind! Here's what I saw compared to 3/4 weeks ago-
There has been little to NO change in my weight- I repeat LITTLE TO NO WEIGHT CHANGE since I started with MFP on May 1st and definitely no difference between these two photos.
To celebrate 10 weeks on MFP, I'm going with a girlfriend to buy my VERY FIRST BIKINI tomorrow!! I won't be wearing it in public just yet but this is the first time in my life that I can envision wearing one at all. I'm nervous but so excited. Just had to share!!!

You said "definitely no difference between these two photos".. Which two photos -- the two you posted on here, right? If so, was that a typo? Because there's definitely a difference, girl! It's hard to compare everything because you aren't posing the same in both and of course have your face covered in the earlier one, lol..but there's definitely a difference in your belly and your chest even looks more "in control" and defined. And look at that bicep -- I'm jealous!!
Also, kudos to you on the upcoming bikini shopping and purchase!! I bought my first one maybe a month or two ago but don't plan on wearing it until my belly and back flab are waaaayyyyyy down (preferably completely gone), lol..but boy am I looking forward to it, so I most definitely feel your joy!!! Get the cutest -- maybe even the sexiest -- one! Lol.. Good luck0 -

Thanks lady!! Yes, I meant to say that there was no weight change between these two. My scale actually says I'm up right now compared to the older photo. And I was still embarrassed in the older one so I didn't want to look at myself! :blushing:
Thank you so much for the compliments and CONGRATS to you!! I saw in my feed that you made it to ONEderland which is just fantastic!! Keep it up!0 -

Ohh okay, I got ya -- looks like I misinterpreted!
Well, that is totally awesome. Slightly up in pounds but such a huge indication of reduction visually (and I'm sure in inches). CLEARLY it isn't all about the scale -- very nice!!
And thank you for your congratz0 -
Good for you that's awesome! And you look great! Keep up the awesome work! Oh, and I'm friending you!0

Shameless self bump! :flowerforyou:0

I can totally see a difference - your stomach right under your bra line is smaller & your arms are definitely more toned. I get discouraged because my scale weight doesn't change much either, but you are inspiration!0
