Outstanding. One of the mental changes I have experienced as a result of getting stronger is that I demand more of the people with whom I spend my time. I enjoy being around other people who lift and who have goals and aren't content with the status quo. It charges me up and makes me want to be better. I don't have time for people who don't want to be stronger in all respects. Male or female, doesn't matter.0

I remember the coach of my old power lifting team (that had a bunch of world champion women on it) say, "The average untrained woman is about half as strong as an average untrained man. However, women respond better to strength training pound-for-pound than men." Given that my 135 lb 52-year old wife has a 260 bench I am in no position to argue.0
