Changing meal options

I have been trying to eat 5-6 small meals a day instead of the breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Does anybody know a way that you can change my fitness pal to allow me to log my meals this way?

I've seen a couple of diaries that the person changed the names of the meals.
Instead of breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack they have something like
8am - 10am
10am-1pm
etc
That might work better for you so you're recording what you're eating during a certain time frame rather than calling it a specific meal.0 -
Settings > Diary Settings > Meal Names
Any reason you're switching to more meals?0 -

HEY I hadn't seen that - that would work well for me too! Especially when I start back to work!0 -
Thanks, everybody! I just changed it to two hour increments starting at 8am. I have started doing Insanity. I finished week 3 day 5 today! The nutritional information recommend eating smaller meals more often. That's why I wanted to switch to this style of logging.0

Eating smaller meals more often can help regulate glucose levels and prevent blood sugar spikes and drops. It can also help you feel less hungry. At least those are the reasons I do small frequent meals. I just list them under snacks though. ;-)0

I assume "insanity" is a food program instead of craziness. How does it work, and where did you find it?0 -

Haha. No, Insanity is a 63 day workout program. It's designed to give a year of results in 63 days as long as you follow the workout schedule and eating plan. It is based in cardio and is VERY intense. It's murder while you do it, but you feel great afterwards.0
