Attention Coffee Lovers!!!

For all you coffee lover out there! I believe I have found The best way to enjoy your morning coffee the healthy way without all the junk from creamers and other dairy. The best way to enjoy your coffee is to put it into a protein shake!! I experimented with this a few weeks ago and I think its one of the best protein shakes I have had. Here is the simple recipe for this shake.

12 ounces of coffee
1 banana
1 tablespoon of peanut butter
1 scoop of chocolate and peanut butter protein powder (I use body fortress brand)
Ice

This makes for a great pre-workout meal as well because of the kick of caffeine. So if you must have your coffee in the morning, this is a great way to enjoy it without the empty calories. If you try this let me know what you think! I would love to hear some feedback

  • why not just a splash of milk and a lotta ice. I really only take just a bit of milk....it diffuses nicely and takes the bite off my kcup iced coffee

The last time somebody offered me coffee and then asked me how I liked it, I replied, "Blonde," and making a quick glance at my wife concluded, "And bitter."
    Then I smiled.
    And ducked.

(I shouldn't have taught her to throw an overhand right.)

Ummm......I'm totally freakin' trying this! I love my morning coffee (and sometimes afternoon as well). But this sounds like a great way to kickstart the day. It almost equals breakfast too!
