Need that motivation and support

So.. I'm a 25 year old weighing 360Lbs & I cant take it no more. Any advice on a good exercises, any tips, ways of eating that could help me get through this. Bad thing about this all , I am staying away from the negative people in my life that are constantly nagging at me .. Janet you need to lose weight..Janet you need to go back to the gym.. Janet this.. janet that. And all i can think of is.. damn it you think its that easy. It just completely puts me in depression mood where alI I want to do is sleep and just dont care what I eat, pretty sad to say its family that feeding me this negativity. Been heavy all my life but its gotten to a point in my life that im actually seeing my body being effected, and it scares. So, major change just need that push that advice. I would really appreciate it MAJORLY!

I would say that you taking the step to see that a change is needed is the biggest hurdle. I started my journey with a journal. I would use it to jot down feelings and track my supplements. Then take baby steps for the exercise. For example park at the end of a parking lot when going to the mall, movies, grocery store and try to take the stairs. And if too hot where you are to work out outside, try walking the mall. As a friend told me, any exercise, no matter where or how short is a step in the right direction. Hope some of this is helpful. What I do to help me is I always tell myself when im craving something, " Fat lasts longer than flavor.."0

I would agree with writing down your feelings when you eat, I did this and found that I ate A LOT more than normal when I was sad and or bored.
The fact that you have joined MFP is a huge step!!! Don't get discouraged, even though you will, it is part of the process. Keep your chin up and don't lose sight of your goal!0 -
Make small changes at first. Start walking for 10 minutes per day and gradually increase each week. Start replacing sugary drinks with water. Make your portions slightly smaller until they eventually become what they should be. Make small goals for yourself. DO NOT think of how much you have to lose as one big amount. Make a goal of 10 or 20 lbs at a time. Add some supportive and encouraging friends that you can interact with daily on your news feed. This has really helped me. Be honest with yourself and give yourself permission to have a weak moment. You will mess up but as long as you get back on track you will be fine.
This will be hard but you are not in this alone. We have all been there and are at various places along the journey to being healthier and happier. I've lost 50 since January and I have celebrated every 10-20 lost. Right now I am looking forward to getting under 200lbs. Then I will have a new goal to meet by the end of the year.
You did not gain weight overnight and you must accept that this will be a looooong journey, years maybe until you get where you want to be. And then you will have to maintain the weight loss which is a whole new challenge.
Believe in yourself. You can do this. It will be hard but you will have awesome moments too. You will realize that you can do so much more then you ever thought you could.

I agree with dancinfree.
For me it's a complete lifestyle change. I used to eat so much junk and never thought twice about all the crap that I shoveled into my body. Now, junk makes me physically ill. I also do battle with my bipolar disorder and since I have started taking care of myself I've been able to get off one medication. The exercise does so much for my moods and well being. Those are some of my motivations right there. I want to feel good, it's not all about the physical benefits.0 -
