Hey everyone! I started my new life in January of this year. I'm 34 years old, mother of 3 young kids, 5'3" and I was miserable. I love MFP and I stalk these success stories for motivation and inspiration almost every day! I started out at 1200 cals but became a demon with so few calories, so I upped it to 1500 and I eat back some but not all of my exercise cals most days. For workouts I run, treadmill or outside depending on kids, weather, time, etc. Now I also do Zumba and kickboxing with some weight training thrown in.

Here's a comparison pic for you, because I know that's what everyone loves (including me). Hope it works! It's funny how it's hard to see the changes in your mirror but photos seem to do the trick. :)

Great job! I started at 219 and am around 187 and still going too. I found I do better around 1500 calories too. My goal for this year is 50 lbs.
