I'm sick of my habits again!

My name is Bryan. I'm 27 years old and am overweight! I am disgusted with my physical appearance and even more so with my lack of energy. About a year ago I did Insanity and lost 40 pounds in a very short amount of time. I was feeling good and looking better. For whatever reason I stopped leading my new found healthy lifestyle and have gained every pound back (and then some). I'm ready to start AGAIN and never stop! I'm sick of gaining weight, not feeling like playing with my son and the negative effects this weight and frame of mind is having on my love life. I have to change.. Today! Or this will never happen. I guess I am looking for support but I do know that it is only possible if I'm willing to change. I will be starting my BodyCombat DVDs today! Glad to be here guys.

I understand! The same thing happened to me and I'm ready to get back on track too. I remember the weight falling off and people complimenting my weight loss. It felt good to feel better about myself and even have lost a few pants sizes. Now I'm too depressed to even wear jeans ( Good Luck!!! You got this!0

The first step is to make the decision. Small changes are important and taking your time to lose the weight is also key. Just decide to make one small change per day. Set small goals and don't overwhelm yourself by wanting to change everything at once. I have been on a weight loss journey for 2.5 years now and I can vouch for the above. Being overwhelmed is easy and can make you unsuccessful.
Start by exercising too and doing something that is easy and that you will enjoy. Go for a walk whenever you can. Don't go out and join a gym and waste your money if you know you are never going to go. Do something you like and start slow. Don't overwhelm yourself.
Be kind to yourself. Celebrate small successes and set small goals that are easily attainable.0 -

It' a never ending battle. I started at 240 went down to something reasonable 185, and now I bounce between there and 204. What's funny is I have not abandoned the workouts, but the meal planning is 80% of the battle and that is the lifestryle change that is really required. You can add me if you like.

The same thing happened to me, too I lost 40 pounds and in a time frame of 7+ years I gained 50! woohoo hahaha I'm back on track and I've lost 8 lbs so far. Feel free to add me ^^0 -
Jim is right. Planning ahead is very important. Failing to plan is planning to fail. Don't just wing it or grab stuff on the fly. If you work, pack a lunch and snacks. Eat a protein breakfast, it sustains you longer. Try and eat as little processed and junk food as possible.
Just a little planning and effort makes a big difference. Don't buy junk and have it around the house because then you will eat it. Clean out your fridge and cupboards and fill them up with good stuff. If you are prone to snacking, make sure you have good stuff to snack on.0
