I'm hosting a party for some of the high school girls that are apart of a ministry that we do at the local high school. They are all coming to my house and I want to make sure that we have healthy, guilt-free snacks. What are some of your suggestions or recipes that may help me out?
Thanks :-)
Thanks :-)

The easy answer is of course veggies and a healthy dip, fruit tray with yogurt dip, but you could also have lean deli meats, like ham and cheese. I've worked with teens for 10 years now and one thing I do know, it doesn't matter what you put in front of them, they'll eat it! Sometimes the girls are bigger eaters than the boys! Just make sure whatever you do supply, it will be something you want left behind. Nothing worse than bad temptations lying around needing to be "cleaned up."0

Apples and almond butter, (healthy) popcorn, veggies and a yogurt based dip.0

Costco carries Angie's Artisan Kettle Corn and it is divine and only about 150 calories for 2 1/3 cups! It is addicting though, which could be a downside. My other suggestion would be Costco pita bites along with your favorite hummus. Freeze some grapes and or blueberries ahead of time and pull those out when ready to serve. I am making these suggestions based on my 15 year old daughter. There are always carrot sticks, apple wedges with peanut butter, or celery with light cream cheese.0

First off... Its awesome that you are throwing a party and looking for alternative snacks for the party

2. Hummus and pita bread.
3. Salsa and pita chips
4. Grapes, Apples and thinly sliced cheese

There is actually a whole list of items on a website I found and the above recipes are fabulous... I tried them all for a party I threw recently.

Thank you all so much for the suggestions! I'm going to go with salsa, multigrain chips, veggies and dip, fruit, and homemade yogurt fruit dip!! I think some of the girls are bringing their own snacks and I'll be sure to tell them to take them back where they came from ;-)0
