    Well first, save up. And second, do what I did. Keep checking TechBargains and SlickDeals for coupon codes that you can use to bring the price down. I caught a '$25 off $75 purchase' coupon on Rakuten.com (formerly Buy.com) and used it on a discounted, new FitBit One. My net cost was less than $60.

    You should check out what is listed on ebay. That's where I got my new BMF and I got it for about 50% less than list price : )

    Mine really has encouraged me to do more stairs and walking. I love it! And the One is much better than the flex! I love checking out my flower!

    Do you have to have continous Internet Connection while out exercising?

    I am not all that Computer Gadget savy.... can someone explain how it works?

    I have the fitbit ultra. You dont need a continuous connection when you ar eout. The Ultra comes with a docking/charging station that you plug into your PC (i leave mine plugged in all the time), the fitbit 'looks' for the docking station and will automatically sync with it when you are within range.

    The one records your activity and sleep and then syncs to a computer or device and downloads the info. Very cool. You charge it once a week or so.
