How do you know your body is done losing anymore weight?

I am short, 154cm (5'0-5'1) and I recently lost around 44lbs/20kg. I now weigh 110lbs. I have tried to go a bit less than this - However, for months now my weight hasn't budged and I'm starting to think it refuses to go any lower. Should I just accept the fact that perhaps my body is as low as it goes, or should I keep persisting and try get to my under goal weight.

Yay you are a shortie like me. I am also wondering this. I am 5'1 and sitting between 114-115 lbs, and have been for quite some time. In my defense I haven't really been trying to lose anymore, I am just more curious than anything. I am very happy with my new body at the moment so I have been trying to maintain. I am almost 32 years old with 3 kids via c-section, and I don't want to get too low and be unhealthy.

I may buy some calipers and see if I can get a more accurate estimate of my body fat %.
  • Try mixing up your diet and adding in more cardio, seemed to work for me.

I was prepared to come in here and give a "just ignore that kind of thinking" pep talk, but even as a shorter person, your weight is already pretty low. It may just come off slower now, or you may need to change up your workouts like lanajaymurphy was saying.

Have you been doing weight training? Weight training is great because it boosts your metabolism for hours afterward and can be effective for weight loss. My own weight loss has been essentially all from weight training, and with a pretty poor diet much of the time, to boot.

Try intermittent fasting. Breaks plataues like crazy. Your body will never just "refuse to budge" if you are eating less calories then you are burning, you will loose weight, doesnt matter if you are 70 lbs. I am gonna guess very little, but how much muscle do you have on your frame?
