After eating all my calories for the day, I am hungry at night. When I am hungry at night, I can't fall asleep. Well, I just ate some salmon. At least I didn't eat something bad.

I rely on celery or cucumbers for a late night snack. Not many calories. It's cool and satisfies my late night craving for something crunchy (usually chips or pretzels). Humus is really good for veggies too. Almost fools you into thinking it's a chip dip! Air-popped popcorn is good with a sprinkling of parmesan cheese or Mrs. Dash.

Save more calories for night time.

This. I always leave about 300 or 400 calories for close to bed because I know I am going to want to munch on something. As long as I have calories remaining, there's no harm in this.

Met too. I usually eat light breakfast, light lunch, decent dinner and always leave calories to spare for night time snackage just because I know its going to happen no matter how much I ate earlier in the day.

I nearly always eat at night and it has not hindered me at all, I have lost nearly 40lb and started January 2013 and have lost something every single week. I often eat up to midnight as a late owl. I do make sure my late snacks are healthy, I have things like:

    Low Fat Yoghurt
Carrot & Celery Sticks with Salsa
    Rice Crackers
    Strawberries
    Grapes
    Apples
    Low Fat Snack Bars

So far it has not mattered to my weight loss and I am on 1200 cals a day and have been since January, I just leave 300 cals left over for snacks each day and probably at least 250 of those cals are on food after dinner later at night. I know some have to not eat late but for me even with no exercise due to a back injury it's made no difference as long as I am still under my cals. The few times I have been hungry and used extra cals late at night I just slice that bit off the next day's calorie allowance to even out my week.

I do this. Often I end up not using them so it's a bonus deficit.
