How are those of you dealing with incredibly hot (and VERY humid) weather this Summer keeping your motivation & energy...especially those of you who do not use a gym and/or any space that is ait conditioned? I do my exercising outside & I am finding it very difficult to stay motivated.

Either do it much earlier or late at night!! I lived in Melbourne for 2 years and found this was the only way i could stay fit0

I recommend going outside late in the evening (or alternately early morning). I find it harder to be motivated in the heat, but you have to do what you can.0

I live in Phoenix, where it has been up to 120 this summer. I stay inside, use my treadmill or jog in the pool with my aqua jogger. I walk a circuit around my house when I'm on the phone or don't have my 10,000 steps. I dance to to the dance cardio on Pandora.0

I started going to the water aerobics at our local pool. It is so much fun (first time I have actually enjoyed exercise). They only charge $1.50 each class and my 7 year old daughter loves to go with me. I think I will have a hard time finding motivation in the heat after the last class on August 8. I will only have time to exercise while my son is at football practice, so I may just have to go sweat it out at the high school track.0

Not sure where your from but I'm in the UK and we are having a hot one. We don't have air con and even the stores have run out of fans. I do love the hot weather but am lacking in exercise0

I've discovered a new love for Mall Walking. I know it might sound lame but I'm really enjoying it! Near me the indoor malls all have early morning programs which gets my walk "out of the way" early. They don't crank up the AC until later in the day but its still much cooler and less humid than outside. There are others walking too which is motivating and I can lose myself listening to a book on tape and window shopping. It's my new guilty pleasure!0

I have been swimming, that's about it, cant seem to do any of my normal workouts and the gym I go too is even too warm with the ac on, the air is just too humid to breath anywhere, so swim it is and I just watch what I eat extra carefully, even though in this heat I don't get too hungry it makes me sick so its not too hard to stick to eating healthy.0

We go out about 9:30 at night for walks, bike rides etc. I don't do early morning, I would rather sleep lol0
