kick start to weight loss

Today I start my journey to lose 100 lbs. From reading different articles I am still unable to decide if I should do a cleanse/detox to flush out my system first. If anyone has any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated. I really want to start with my best foot forward to a healthier life! Thanks in advance.

Later Dayz xoxo

You don't have to cleanse or detox. Just start eating better and moving more.

You do whatever you would prefer.
If you think you can stick to one of those plans, go for it.
If you think it will limit you and make you dislike trying to get fit, don't do it.
Many people are of the opinion that it's useless and there's nothing in you to detox.
Just do what you're most comfortable with.
Exercising and watching your calories of in vs. out is what really matters, in the end.

I second what the previous poster says. If you aren't used to exercising, try C25K (perfect if you have an iPod). It allows you to gradually build up endurance so that you can run a 5K after eight weeks. I'm almost done with week two and I can already feel it working great. Another thing is to count your calories as accurately as possible. That way, you know how much you've gone over by (and if you can exercise to compensate). You also will be able to find out if you need MORE calories.

Just eat at a deficit and shoot for 1% loss of body weight per week, no need for detox or anything like that. If you plan on exercising, you should consider weight lifting

Sustainable lifestyle change. Not cleanse, not flushing your bottom, not water fast, not anything crazy. Just track what you eat and eat a calorie deficit you're comfortable with.

My advice would to just watch calories and get moving. Start out slow - you're changing your life, not just losing weight.

If cleanse and detox you mean ditching all sugary drinks and replacing them with water, than yes do it. But if your talking about a juicing fast to cleanse and detox yourself, sh1t doesn't work.
