I thought I'd say hi. I've been a member for a while, but after a long time of trying to lose weight, I have now made it a priority. After I got the results from some routine blood work, some levels were way to high, and after a second blood draw two weeks later to make sure it wasn't a fluke, the results were confirmed. I, apparently, am overweight and now posing a risk to my health. I didn't think I was THAT overweight, but I guess my body thinks I am.

I'm now paying close attention to what I'm eating, as I might be getting close to diabetes territory I am worried. I'm also is at risk because of cholesterol and triglyceride levels. I little worried, but now very motivated.

I was right were you were at the beginning of this year. My doctor said I was borderline diabetic and obese, @ 30%+ BF I decided enough was enough and I changed my life completely. Just stick to your goals and stay dedicated and know that weight loss takes time and lots of patients.

Been there - my annual blood tests were the reason I hopped on here too. Keep at it :)
