Contraceptive implant and weight gain?

Has anyone had the contraceptive implant and gained weight as a side effect or had a harder time losing weight after having it fitted?
I recently had it fitted and would hate to have it interfere with my weight loss journey :indifferent:

    I've been on it for four years and had no weight gain. I adore this contraceptive and would recommend it above all others. Some women do have weight gain though--it really varies, I guess.
