NOOOOOOO! Dont do the HCG diet! You're just setting yourself up for failure :sad:0 -
I did HCG and lost a lot of weight on it, however I did gain it back. I felt like crap on it as well, not because I was starving, but because I was tired. 500 calories was just not realistic for me to live off of. Congrats on your weight loss though, hope it goes better for you than it did for me. And keep in mind it is dangerous, regardless of what everything about it says.0

I hope the HCG diet plan works for you. I did it a couple of years ago, monitored by a physicians office and I lost about 20-30 pounds, but I was unable to keep it off. I actually gained it back pretty quickly. After the first couple of weeks it was really easy to follow but once I was weaned off of it I gained it back. Hopefully you will have better luck than I did!

Extremely low calorie diets are a terrible idea. Almost everybody who loses weight on them gains them back because they never learned proper nutrition along the way. Also, it's a recipe for metabolic adaptation. You body's 1 job is to survive. If it sees a constant severe calorie deficit, it will lower it's daily calorie burn to compensate. You're setting yourself up for failure.0

Earlier this year, I lost 15 lbs in a month using Omni Drops. However, I had to stop because this affected my heart and caused so many side effects (that came on suddenly). Even while eating less than my basil metabolic rate (the rate at which you should burn calories if you were just a couch potato all day), all the weight came back plus some because this had slowed my metabolism way down..
I really believe now that the hCG Diet leaves people fatter. Plus, to add insult to injury, when I got back to my starting weight, none of my clothes fit. They were too tight. It was apparent, I had lost muscle and gained fat. It changed my body and I felt lumpier
Took months of healing but I'm now on Weight Watchers to help undo all the hCG Diet damage and, while a slower process, it is working. Just wish I'd started with WWs rather than this crash diet.0 -
I started got a new scale last Saturday, I weighed myself then on Monday I got serious about tracking on Monday. I have lost 9 pounds so far. I am an emotional eater and I had horrible day on Monday and I had to go to grocery store and get something on the way home and instinctually I headed for the bakery, I said to my self, I am not going to let my co-workers have this much control. I am in charge and I will not do this. I did buy some fat free frozen yogurt for after dinner with my family it was awesome the two spoons I had, I really did not want more than a taste and I stuck with that Idea.
I am proud of myself. I am very proud.0
