a way to make it so it won't ooze is cut a circle out of the top half of the pita (if using a whole one) stuff it, replace the circle on top. it might ooze out the top but not really the sides.

I am curious how you bake this w/the top of the pita open? How do you prevent everything from "oozing" out while baking?

This is what I was thinking too

Thanks. THis sounds good and must taste good. I don't see to much guys on this but I have no problem saying that this program through my Iphone keeps me in Check and lost already about 2 lbs. Had lost already 8 previosly but did not have a set program like this Iphone/IPad App. I really like this.

Calzones are one of my absolute favorite "bad" foods. Naturally, I didn't take a picture of this because I ate it too fast :)

    1/2 cup Fat Free Ricotta
    1/2 cup Fat Free Mozzarella
6 slices turkey pepperoni, sliced in half
    2 cloves garlic, crushed
    Handful of basil leaves, chopped
    1 low carb pita pocket

    PH oven to 350.

Put ricotta, mozzarella, pepperoni halves, garlic and basil into a bowl and stir thoroughly until everything is evenly dispersed.

Open the pita pocket and stuff the cheese mixture inside. Bake on a baking sheet for around 15-20 minutes. I brushed the top of mine with a little light butter in the last few minutes of baking but found it was unnecessary and just added calories, but not much flavor.

This was so yummy! You can dip in light marinara if you want, as well. Tasted very similar to the real thing :)

    BUMP!!!!! sounds awesome!
