Good Morning! I started the workout level 1 on Monday but I was soooo sore that I had to rest Tues and Wed. I started it up again yesterday. I am feeling abit sore but I will continue with it. Today is day 2 for me. I would like to join with you even though I am 1 day ahead. Good luck. I am starting with 5 lbs on level 1 but I am switch to 2-3 lbs on some days. Look forward to hearing from you.0

I do Day 1 (sometimes day 2) twice a week as part of my general fitness routine ... keeps me nicely toned0
-
hey , ill join you, im going starting today too0
-
BTW someone asked what to put it under on MFP ...
I created a new exercise "30 Day shred Day 1" set the time to 20 minutes and 260 cals
For Day 2 I log 20 minutes and 300 cals
(I took an average of cals from info I gathered around the net)0 -
The 30 day shred is roughly 27-30 minutes long including warm up and cool down and it's considered circuit training. I've done it. It looks easy, but kicks your butt. If you're looking to lose weight, you may lose a few pound, but not a lot. Most people lose it in inches which matter more.
With that said, I wish you ladies good luck.0 -

People tend to log this as circuit training.....
Calories burnt really depends on the weights that you use, i use 1kg weights and burn around 260 calories in a session, hubby uses 3kg(6.6lbs) weights and he burns 400+0 -
Yes, I will join, as I just started it today and have already logged it in my diary!0

I ha initially put it in as 10mins of Strengt training and 20mins of aerobics.. and i was considering puttin it all in as 20mins of circuits.. but now uve made the log for it! thanks
also by "Day 1 " do u mean Level 1?0 -
As for logging, search "circuit training" on exercises and just put in 20 minutes, and Myfitnesspal will estimate how many calories you burn based on your weight.
A lot of people do this for 30 day shred as it seems to be more accurate to judge how many calories you burn.0 -
I'm in. I need something to kickstart me again.

I started the older version of 30DS that I had on Monday. I was very sore after the first two days, but I didn't stop and worked through the pain. It doesn't hurt anymore when I work out. My muscles have gotten used to it I guess.0
-
ive just done it for the first time ever -its a very good work out and really motivates you along the way. Its very hot here which helped me sweat a lot more. im gonna do a few extra stretches and then take a nice cool shower. If your thinking about joining us, definitely give it a go and we can all motivate each other0
-
Just started yesterday. Should be done by my birthday (8/17) if I can get all the way through with no breaks!0
-
Just completed Day one, found the push-ups hard but hopefully will keep it up and see some difference at the end of the 30 days0
-
Count me in too, DVD is coming in today from amazon so I will start tonight. I plan on waking up earlier in the morning and doing it then.0
-
I'm going to get 30DS this evening! Those of you who are starting today please add me. We'll have a killer before/after pic thread when we're done! :drinker:0
-
I'm on day 7 of the 30DS! Feel free to add me as well0
