    Oh, I forgot the best

I'm starting a juice fast and/or detox. What do you think?

OMG you're so mean! and grammatically incorrect.
Sorry was typing quickly. You're just lucky I caught the first one. Now it's fixed.

First - "Why is everyone so mean/negative/non-supportive"
Clearly I live in a completely different reality to those posters and I don't really care to hear about theirs. ~sniffs~

Second -" Rate the above poster" type ones.
If I wanted someone to rate me, I'd walk across the road to the auto place and ask the guys there what they thought.

I kind of like the other ones like the diet soda, counting fruits and veg, etc. I know people could search, but frankly from reading those new threads I've learned other stuff, so I find them useful

    "Lifting--will it make me bulky?"

And of course "Cow's milk--I love it but I heard it's bad for me, should I drink coconut milk instead?"

How has NO ONE mentioned the "I lost weight eating clean and those that don't will shrivel up from cancer and die!" posts?

    Srsly, those are the worst.

I also hate the "<Insert stupid pyramid scheme or Dr. Oz cure or fad diet here?>" posts.

"I hate it when men stare at me because I'm so hawt. Grrrr. Look at my half-naked profile picture."

or this response to EVERY question about BMR/TDEE -- "You're not eating enough! Eat more calories! Eat more to weigh less!!!!!!!!" As if overeating isn't what got most of us to this point to begin with.

    Posts about annoying, reoccurring post.

Yea. And the posts where people are too full to eat 1200 calories. Really?! But the 3000 calories you were eating before MFP didn't cause you to get full?

Dr Oz recommended these pills, should I try them?

    Weight of muscle versus fat

I can't lose weight!!!(.........because I'm already at a healthy bmi and my goal has been determined by airbrushed photoshopped models in beauty magazines)

    "Why am I not losing?!?!?!frownyfacefrownyface"

But they either eat like crap in excess with inaccurate measurements or don't even scrape up half of their meager 1200 calorie allotment.

"Should I eat my exercise calories back?"

This one really grinds my gears. No, of course you shouldn't, MFP tells you to eat your exercise calories for the pure fun of confusing you.

    There are a few others:

"Help! I haven't lost weight for two days so I'm at a plateau!"
"Everyone on here is a bully because they don't agree with my opinion"
    "What counts as water?"
"Someone called me fat and now my life is over."

Muscle actually does weigh more than fat but every couple of weeks some poor fool tries to claim that they weigh the same because a pound equals a pound. It is an extremely stupid line of reasoning and yet it just won't die. I know it only serves to feed the beast but I can't help myself. I try to get people to understand and I am sure I have never gotten through to anyone. Such is life I guess.

"Help! I haven't lost weight for two days so I'm at a plateau!"

    THIS. SO MUCH THIS.

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

just to be clear... are you arguing that 1lb of muscle weighs more than 1lb of fat?

Fortunately my sarcasm detector was working.

^This for sure. I just don't go into those threads, but It seems I see a new one almost every day on the feed.
  • Least Favorite: Most of the recipe posts (not just cauliflower) drive me nutsbonkers with their exaggerations, low-fat and non-fat this or that, and "oh look, I invented the wheel" mentality. Anyone can shove low fat cheese and sour cream into anything and call it low cal or fat whatnot, that doesn't mean it's a recipe or that it's going to taste good. Putting cauliflower in everything is just desperate. Eat normal foods. Count them. That's all.

I agree with this. But I have to say.. cauliflower is my all time favourite veg so it's my go to lol. And in the winter its savoy cabbage (cause you can't get it during the summer here). :D Have a great day all. x

When someone can't reach 1200 calories in a day I want to kill a kitten with my bare hands.
