Today I am 40! And even though I didn't make my goal of losing 64 pounds, I am healthier than I have ever been and a lot closer to my goal than I was last year at this time. At last check I was down 40lbs, then I hit a plateau and after 3 months of the scale not moving I decided it needed to meet the brick wall in the back yard... (I think I showed it who's boss :) I work too hard to be defined by the number on the scale so at some point I will weigh myself but for now I'm enjoying our time apart. This last year has been a journey of ups and downs, some days were easy and some days totally sucked! But I didn't give up and that's half the battle, right?Thanks to all my MFP friends for all your support and encouragement, I couldn't do it with out ya!

    congratulations on your 40 lbs loss :D
    but i too hit a plateau lately ,and my friends recommended that i increase my calories to 1500 calories, and do Hit workouts or high impact aerobics ...
    and it's working :)
