I'm thinking of having visitors watch Kinky Boots and was wondering what to serve???? and if anyone mentions liver cos it tastes like shoe leather I'll laugh!

    I never do, but I do have themed pot luck lunches with my employees, and I love them. I'm also trying to talk a friend into having a party on Madonna birthday.

    Ideas for kinky boots...

    I would say serve sparkly type dishes? I know there is red edible gitter you could put on cakes, so dessert you're all set.

    Then maybe have the rest edible by toothpicks and make a bunch of stripper shoe handles out of cardstock?

    I don't know how much effort you wanted, but I tend to get a little out of control ;)

    If I knew anything about the movie I might get ideas but as I know nothing but the title the only thing I can think of is boot shaped sugar cookies with frosting. Lame I know.

    OMG are they fun... dietwise they're a nightmare but fun.. and you're kidding? SM? we're friends of Billy's. he went to the high school I teach at.. my boss was there when he was.. he was sooo gracious back stage..

    A kid's birthday party - the movie was Clue ..... they all dressed as characters ...... Colonel Mustard, Mrs Peacock, etc.

    Guests were served a mystery dinner.

    I'll never get friends to dress,, but with Ginny in from florida, sitting in a dark game room watching a movie would be good.... as opposed to back yard picnicking. but I KNEW i should have bought a t shirt press ... then I could make everyone something to wear....
