Raw Peanut Butter Vs. Raw Almond Butter

I've been wondering if one is really better for you then the other or are they about the same nutritionally? I ask that because I can get twice the amount of raw peanut butter for the cost of one jar of almond butter. Is there any benefit to eating one over the other? I know that the calorie/fat content is the same for both. Any other major differences I should consider before commiting to one?

Thanks dudes! :D

Do you know your blood type?
If you are "O" you should eat almond and not peanut!
"A" types should eat Peanuts and Almonds
    "B"s Almonds not Peanuts
"AB"s Peanuts and Almonds (in each case nut listed first is better than listed secondly
I know also that tons of folk have bad allergys to peanuts in any form so if you are taking food into work or school you should consider this too!

I did some quick research and found some links you may want to check out:

It sounds like if you're comparing the raw peanut butter and raw almond butters, neither is particularly better than the other. If money's an issue, I doubt almond butter has enough health benefits over raw peanut butter to justify the extra cost.

If you like almond butter, though, I've heard it's not too hard to make your own. Might be worth looking into - would certainly be cheaper!

almond butter has no cholesterol or trans fat and more protein. if price is a factor here's a site with directions on buying almonds and making it yourself to save $$:

Raw (all natural) peanut butter has no cholesterol or trans fats either. It's just made from peanuts - nothing else!

There are some books out that suggest your blood type determines what food is best for you. I'm not sure I could really buy into that, but I haven't read them so don't have an informed opinion on the topic.
