Fell of the Wagon

So for the past 3 days I've been totally off the wagon...no gym no carrying about what I put in my mouth. On the 1st of September, a friend of mine passed away of a massive heart attack. She was not only a friend but a co-worker. I just stopped what I was doing and have been in a funk. I know that I need to get back at it...I did P90x lean version Week 2 Day 1 today. It felt great to sweat out some of the emotions and the junk that I've been inhaling. Back at it.

  • Sorry for the loss of your friend, that is definitely a hard situation. Don't beat yourself up about slipping a little. Great job for getting back on track, and I'm sure it felt great to release some endorphins! *hugs*
  • I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your friend. Unfortunately, a lot of us deal with our emotions through eating. I know I do. Food is a comfort to us, especially when something tragic happens in our life. Maybe you could think of getting back on track as making a promise to your friend that you will get healthy and make better choices in life. I am sure she will be looking down on you and cheering you on everyday.

Feel free to send me a friend request if you need some extra motivation. I wish you the best of luck.

Exercise (and resulting endorphins) is the best way to help when depressed, shocked, hurting. You are a very smart woman.
I am so sorry about your friend. Her memory will carry on in your heart and in the thoughts of everyone who knew her.
    Hugs, sweet person. :drinker: (water).
