My husband and I have recently joined are very excited about the flexibility of this site. There is one thing we would like to do that we cannot seem to successfully accomplish, which is set up new exercises that we can share. Is that possible, if not how do you request the exercises be added to the main site?

  • Thats great you and your hubby are doing this together, support from a workout buddy is really helpful and motivating. I can't see how you can combine two people on one site, I think it would be best if you both had your own accounts set up with myfitnesspal and recorded your own exercises. To add exercises you can search them and add them or you can add your own if you know what it is and how many calories it uses. Also if you weight lift at all to make sure you add them to both the cardio section and the strength section otherwise it won't calculate your calories burned. Good luck to both of you!
  • Actually we both have our own logins but want to be able to share the exercise. For some reason the P90X programs are not on the site so we are both having to add them individually. I've set them up now but he can't see them.
  • I'm new to this site as well, still learning the odds and ends of this wonderful site called myfitnesspal. Iam to trying to add the p90X to my Exercise, but could'nt find it. The only one that would come close would be aerobics. Any help would be appreciated
  • Congrats on starting the toughest program I've ever done. As far as using this site to track my exercise, I just added my own exercises under Cardio. They say in all the materials that the average calorie burn per day is 600 calories. So I added one called P90X Chest, Back & Abs for day one and so on. At least then I could keep reusing them. My husband and I are doing this together and it has been a lot of fun so far. We are on week 3 day 3. How far are you into the program?
  • I have done the P90x before and lost 27 pounds last year, but gained it all back and some. I wasnt tracking what i was eating though, just as i could remember everything that i ate the day before. I would swear by the route of Kempo, that rocked and loved it every time i worked out to it. starting at day 1 tomorrow morning. Wish me Luck, it's nite nite for me. 5am comes really early in the morning. lol
