3 weeks on diet-no weight loss

Hi, I was primarily a weightlifter and I ended up gaining too much fat. I want to get back down to 130 pounds, so I need to lose 6 pounds. Three weeks ago I started my diet, eating 1300 calories daily. Typically for maintenence I eat 1800-2000 calories when I'm not dieting. I also did not do any cardio before this diet and three weeks ago I began walking 4-5 miles 6 days a week. In addition I also lift weights, very heavy..quite strenuous, twice a week..each time about two hours. Despite these three weeks on this calorie deficit, I haven't lost a single pound. I want to be down to my goal weight of 130 pounds by August 12th. I'm considering beginning a low carb diet, except on weightlifting days I am planning on keeping my carbs a bit higher. I have stayed away from doing lots of cardio because I don't want to lose muscle, and my weightlifting takes a decent amount of time to recover from. Can anyone assist me? I just want to lose these 6 pounds so bad!

Honestly you could have just started your exercise and continued to eat maintenance to lose weight, you didn't have to cut calories and start working out.

Either eat maintenance and exercise to create a deficit OR cut calories to create your deficit.

Doing a reasonable amount of both is also an option, like eating 1600 calories and exercising 300 off.

Otherwise you're creating a huge deficit and your body is going to burn lean muscle mass to run itself, not just fat.
