Exercising and eating right
Here they are:
My family has a history of diabetes and heart disease
I can wear shorts with pride!
I have more energy
I'm confident
That's a very short list of course but its just naming a few. But what are your reasons? Why aren't you quitting even when you want to on a horrible day and why are you still here?

Because I refuse to go back to being 90 pounds heavier. Everything is easier!! Even hard days!!0
-
Because this is the first time ever that I have lost this much weight 33lbs don't seem like a lot but it is to me and I have a long way to go.0

Habit.
I don't have any motivation to keep losing/logging. I'm doing it because it's what I do now.0 -
Because I don't want to be that woman in her 50s who is always looking back at how it used to be and longing for things to be different.
I want to be the woman that is loving the hell out of her 50s.0 -
My main motivator/quote that explains why I am still here and why I am a running fool:
"I don't run to add days to my life, I run to add life to my days."
For the first time in my adult life, I feel ALIVE. And it feels AMAZING! :drinker:0 -
Just in case we ever reconcile with my estranged in-laws (not bloody likely), I want to look unbelievably fit and fabulous when they see me.0

A list doesn't have to be long to be good.
I fight the fight because I haven't reached the finish yet, I still have goals. Because at heart, I am a competitor and anything less than first is hard for me to accept.0 -
Because I want to teach my daughter healthy habits through example.
I want to be proud of how I look and not dread being seen.0 -
Because I don't want to look back in a year and slap the s#!+ out of myself for giving up, when keeping going is soo much better!0
-
I refuse to give up, because..
I've come too far
I want to be fit and healthy
I want to wear my "skinny" clothes, once again
I want to feel more comfortable in my own skin
And I want to fit into clothes by my fav designers0 -
To be the best version of me that I can possibly be.
My family, whenever I start to slack or want to give up, they push me to be stronger.
Because this isn't a temporary thing, it's lifestyle changes.0 -
For very vain reasons:
To look good in skinny clothing
To feel comfortable and not embarrassed when walking on the street0 -
I don't want to die fat.0
-
I am still here because I still want to be here and need to be here. I am a numbers person and I like logging my calories and seeing how many calories my body is using. I enjoy the other people that use this site. The main reason I won't give up is that I want to be happy with my body.0
-
Because I have changed my life and have no wish to change back. Giving up is not an option, changing my life for the worse or continuing as I am are the only two options available to me.0
-
I have stopped having daily migraines.
I'm off of two meds which were for purely obesity-related problems.
I love the changes in me.
My psoriasis is gone, my arms have healed and there is a tiny forest of fine hairs growing, for the first time in years.
I don't get side cramps when I turn over in bed.
I'm going to win.0 -
Because Im coming for that Mens Health/Mens Fitness cover )
Overall Well being, Feel good - quality of life.
Stronger, Faster, Bigger!
Confidence and of course for Aesthetic reasons, Image etc.0 -

1. Because I need to show myself that I CAN be disciplined
2. Because as much as I hate to admit it to myself when I'm eating badly and not exercising - I feel soooo much better when I'm being healthy.
3. Because I've got no acne since I've stopped drinking a litre of soda per day
4. Because I want to be able to go back to my short - shorts and mini dresses
5. Because I'm tired of hiding these love handles and my tummy under baggy clothes
6. Because I want to be able to rock my bikinis
7. Because I want to look good naked.
8. Because I want to be strong
9. Because there is no bigger endorphin rush that being sweaty and stepping off that cardio machine knowing you've finished your workout for the day
10. Because if I can't take care of something as special and intimate as my own body... how do I expect to truly be able to handle everything else life throws at me?
11. Because I want to silence everyone who said I would give up.0 -
So I don't end up in a wheelchair in 10 years at 60. To be strong, and lastly, but not least, to look hot naked .:laugh:0
-
To live a healthier lifestyle. I want to take back control. I want to live so I can see my grandchildren. To prove to myself that I conquer my own physical well being and mind.0
-
I want a squashed fairy tattoo on my butt. It's my reward.0
-
Well I wanted to open it up to everyone else as well. I know short doesn't mean bad just thought I would provide a few reasons0

I want a squashed fairy tattoo on my butt. It's my reward.
That is an excellent reward!0 -
Because today I reached healthy, normal BMI for the first time in 19 years!
Because it is so great to be healthy and fit instead of sick and tired and fat and miserable.
Because I love to feel better than I did at 33 when I am now 63!
Because I love to move my body and feel it obey me. My body rocks! And I don't look too bad either!:blushing: :bigsmile:0 -
According to my 16 year old, "YOLO"...and to that, I say bring it!
I do it for me, not for anyone else.
I will be a stronger person...both mind and body.
The feeling I get after an awesome workout....priceless!0
