Liquid Egg whites. Cooked or Uncooked?

99% of me believes that drinking liquid egg whites has the same nutritional value as cooking them; however, my friend told me said that a bodybuilder friend of his said that cooking the egg whites "releases" something and is better. Only thoughts is that it is easier digested through the cooked method, and absorbed better by the body through the raw method.
