CoQ10 supplement

Does anyone take a CoQ10 supplement and do you feel it works? In the past I read that our bodies do not absorb enough of this "vitamin" from supplements. I just read an article (Posted Below) and it claims the opposite. If you do take this supplement are you doing it on your own or has your doctor recommended it?
If you have additional info on this "vitamin" I would be interested to hear from you too.

everyone should.. and those on statin's MUST.0 -
I have taken it in the past. I took it right after lunch to help with energy levels through the afternoon, especially in winter, as us Canadians don't get enough sunlight then, and things can get sleepy.0

"FOLLOW THE MONEY" - remember that all these people have an ulterior motive to sell you their product! That does not mean these are not good for you - I do take a CoQ10 supplement as I am on a statin. I just have red flags going off when their product is the "best"....:glasses:0

I have taken it for years, back when I was told to take it to prevent my blood vessels from getting thin and/or swelling. And to help with heart issues. I can tell a difference when I don't have it - I've been out for a little while and started taking it again and my recovery is faster and I have more energy.0
