Is this cheating on insanity???

I am busy doing insanity at the moment and have just done my first morning of pure cardio and cardio abs. However using what I think is logic I finished the cardio abs just before the final stretches, and as I was still very much warmed up, skipped the warm up on the cardio abs and went straight into the exercises finishing with the stretches and a couple extra for the legs. Is this cheating myself or common sense?

    I always do both sets of warm ups and cool downs. The pure cardio workouts are intense, so you need to give your heartrate a chance to come down at the end, but you want to ramp it up again before doing the ab workouts. Plus, the workout for the ab section uses a different warmup to hit some different muscles that aren't heavily engaged by pure cardio. I think you might be cheating yourself out of a better burn and may be risking injury due to improperly warmed muscles. I would (and do) perform both videos in sequence from start to finish, as the program intended.

    Thanks for your reply. Guess I knew deep down it was cheating myself, will make sure I do it properly next time instead of trying to finish it quicker :)
