You sound the same as me! My body type has gone from hourglass to 'spoon' - I don't want to be a spoon! I've lost weight off my waist but nothing off my thighs.
I've always been pear shaped, I don't mind it so much. Except for the fact that I don't have much in the chest department to begin with, so losing more from there just because my body is constructed that way is kind of devastating.

Sorry for crashing the thread, but these numbers are really interesting to compare with. I'm 5'5" in my 40s. Goal weight (which I've reached) is 130. When I was 20, I weighed 100-105 and wore a size 2, spent about 12-15 hours a week in pretty strenuous activity, and walked quite a few miles in the course of each day... and dated someone a foot taller and twice my weight, who told me I was fat but criticized me if I didn't eat as much as he did when we went out. I believed him for a while. Glad I'm not seeing that kind of mentality here. You go, ladies. :flowerforyou:0
