Don't let jawbone fool ya!

Was loosing weight just going by my calories, got a jawbone up and started going by the adjusting calories! My weight loss stalled immediatley! I Love the activity tracker and sleep tracker on the jawbone, but just be for warned dont pay to much attention to the adjustment it makes to your fitness pal #'s!

  • how do you like the jawbone up? does it seem to be pretty accurate in terms of your Pedometer and Sleep reporting?

Does it sync wireless to your phone app?

Basically, if the calories it tells you are wrong, is the thing just an expensive pedometer, and that's it?

    thanks!

Actually I love it! You need a smart phone but thats it. Plug it into the top of the smart phone and it takes about 30 seconds or less to update sleep and activity. The pedometer seems to be accurate. I synced it couple times as soon as I got off a treadmill. It tracks sleep and deep sleep and also syncs with fitness pal! lots of cool functions. Only trouble I'm having is I think it gives to much credit for calories burned so I kind of ignore that stat to a certain extent and my weight has started to tick down again. For a while is was going by the adjusted calories and my weight loss stopped. Really like the jawbone, its a cool little toy for fitness enthuesiests.

I have not found this to be the case at all. Since I've started wearing my UP, I've lost another 4 lbs.

Its possible that it's only a coincidence that I stalled out a little. But now that I'm not going on the adjusted I'm back to losing about .5 to 1 LB a week. I think the pedometer is accurate though.
