I would have thought a smaller baby from her. Congrats to them.

I was thinking the same thing. She was all baby.

not quite where I was going with that one...

    Name him Albert...

    After his great great-grandfather?

D'aw! Wishful thinking, but I doubt very seriously it will happen.

Yeah... I know... and where you were going is exactly why it won't happen. LOL!

A ton of people here in the states are sick of hearing about it but to me, this is pretty cool. As a history lover, I think it's amazing to see the results of a Royal Prince being born. The process of taking the birth announcement from the hospital to the palace, putting it on the same easel as Prince William's birth announcement all of the old tradition... Definitely not something everyone gets to witness in their lifetime.

The whole thing is pretty neat to me.

And someone posted this info below on Facebook. I think it's awesome!

"His Royal Highness, (NAME), 1st Prince of Cambridge. That title has not been used in over 100 years. He is 3rd in line to be King. AND, 4 generations alive at once. Has not been 4 generations alive since Queen Victoria."

Or maybe not? I saw the news on Mail Online, but I'm not seeing it on any other news sources. Maybe I jumped the gun there.

It's on CNN so you're good.

Sure, because CNN has proven to be a reputable news source as of recently???

Unless someone dies very young....every generation usually has a royal "born in their lifetime". Or did Harry and Will just appear one day as 10 year olds?

Yay! We need to take bets on the name. I think it's going to be George, but I'd prefer Arthur.

I guess the name James is a possibility but it's unlikely because Prince Edwards son is already called that.

I'll go with Arthur. They said he would return. Though it might be a bit "blasphemous".

He is also the 1st born 1/2 commoner to be born into the royal family!

It will probably be William after his dad!

I know James as a name is supposedly a shoe-in, but I suspect it will be something else.
