can i eat "too many" bananas in a day? as long as there in my calorie goals?
i have a huge obsession at the moment, all deserts smoothies, snacks involve banana haha

    But I'm the same! I love bananas and eat them before and after I work out.

    u can eat whatever u want if it fits your calories and macros. however, moderation is key- 3 bananas= a good amount of carbs for something that isnt so filling!

    no, but you can eat too few protein and fat amounts. You can't have your cake and eat it too. Protein and fat are two essentials... things you can't live without. Fruit and carbs, you can go the rest of your life and never eat another gram of one...in theory, and you'd be just fine.

    Most people, especially women blank out and eyes glaze over when you hear protein. But the under consumption of it is a large part of the reason for dietary failures.

    I used to work for a consultant neurologist. We had a patient come in after having a seizure triggered by excessive potassium caused by eating too many bananas, but he was on about 10 a day.

    Honestly I think 125 calories for a piece of fruit is too much. I'd rather eat something else. I have a friend who's eating bananas because he wants to GAIN weight.

    MACROS = The Breakdown of the categories of the total calories you eat ... Protein, Carbohydrate, Fats.
    50% Carb, 30% Protein, 20% Fat is a typical daily goal.
