Feeling down in the dumps. Help?

So I've just started my weight loss journey on the first of July and I've lost about 10lbs since then (I'm 5'5 and 157-8 now). But today I just feel particularly too heavy and just having a major fat day (I know I am fat but it feels worse to acknowledge it sometimes T.T)
Anything motivational or helpful to get me out of this? Thanks so much in advance.

Even the tiniest of people have those days.

You have accomplished so much in such a short time. Try to focus on that.

I find that getting a good workout in when I feel like this really helps bring me out of the slump. Best of luck!

Ten pounds in less than a month is A LOT! Don't beat yourself up. You've come a long way.

Don't be down!! You are making amazing progress! Be careful of what you are comparing yourself to. Go to a shopping center of a place full of regular folks and have a look around and stop being too hard on yourself. You aren't particularly heavy for your height so you will likely start losing slower in the coming weeks. Stay focused on your health and a healthy attitude. Great work!

Hi! Glad to see you here! I went to a BMI calculator and put in your stats.
At 5'5", and 157lbs, your BMI is 26.1.
Normal BMI is 24.9. By losing 10 lbs, you've lost almost 2 BMI points!! In 8 more pounds, you're in the normal range! That's HUGE!!

You're not fat. You're barely over normal BMI! You should feel proud. I don't know if this helps, but the bottom line is, don't let a day or two of feeling down sabatoge you. You're doing wonderful things by working on your fitness.

BTW, exercise really, truly does help those blue funks we all get in. And the harder you can push yourself in a session, the better you'll feel after. I woke up yesterday in a a really foul mood. Went for a jog, which was hard has heck, but after I felt so much better. Because I allowed myself to feel proud of myself.

Chin up. You're doing great things here. And I'm proud of you!
