Ok, So I was making a homemade meal last night and tried to measure out everything so I can calculate proper calories. Most of the things I used had a serving size of 2 oz or 3 oz. What is the conversion to cups So I can better understand what I'm doing?
Thank you!!
Thank you!!

1 Cup = 8fluid ounces0

8oz = 1 cup, so 2 oz. would be 1/4 cup.0

Is that the same for solid food like pasta and shrimp?0

Maybe getting a food scale would be helpful with the pasta and shrimp. I LOVE using my food scale.0

2 oz of dried pasta = 1 cup cooked pasta0

For solids, it's better to weigh them if you can since 2oz of liquid compared to 2oz of solid is a lot different (ie, a 1lb brick takes up a different amount of space than 1lb worth of feathers -- crap analogy, but I hope you get the idea).0

Thanks eneryone for the input...By the way how much do the food scales usually run?0
