I wear an HRM and for level 1 I burn between 180-190 calories a session.
Me too0 -
I totally wear two sports bras so I don't get punched by my own chest... lol
SAME!!!!!!! curse these 34E's0 -
The number of calories burnt after the 30 days shred level 1 2 or 3 depend on you current weight .. it is different for everyone.0

I weigh 200 lbs and my HRM estimates that I burn about 280 cals in level 1. My HR stays @ about 150-169 the whole time. Hope this helps. It's going to vary on how much you weigh and how hard you work at it (breaks, intensity etc)0

I do the 30 Day Shred and it's entered as circuit training. 20 minutes of circuit training burns 164 calories. Don't get discouraged though. I've been doing it for 10 days now and lost 5 lbs. already. I start level 2 tomorrow. Good luck!
I also logged it as circuit training, as that is exactly what you're doing. Good luck!0 -
Agree: log it as circuit training but don't log 27-28 minutes - substract the stretching and some of the warm-up. I usually logged 18 or 20 minutes.0

Like others, I logged it as circuit training.0

5'5" and 146 lbs and I did week 1 Day 5 today and my HRM said I burned 179 calories. I log it under Circuit Training.0

I know I am late to this subject but I found a site that will calculate circuit training by weight.
http://www.self.com/calculatorsprograms/calculators/caloriesburned/circuit_training
I'm 199 lbs as of today and it say 20 minutes is 252 calories burned0 -
The more you weigh, the more energy is needed during exercise, thus the more calories burned In other words, if you weigh more, you burn more cals during your workout. I weigh 160 and it says I burn 213 cals doing 22 mins of circuit training. (The 30 Day Shred DVD is actually 22 mins, not 20). Someone who weighs more, will burn more.0

Got my ft4
Watch on and level 2 burned 250cals0 -
Well it really depends on how much you weigh. When I first did it, I had a heart rate monitor, and it told me about 450-500 calories a day (depending on how much effort I put in to it). But I also weighed 250 pounds, so it may be different depending on how much you weigh. Try to measure it against other things you know the calories of. Such as running for 30 mins (do you feel the same burn and stress as doing the 30 days shred). Or, moreover, get a heart rate monitor. They are a little pricey, but I found decent ones on Amazon.0
