Just wondering when it says a serving size is 1/2 cup. Does that mean 1/2 cup with shells or 1/2 without shells? Thanks.

    whatever it is, it's too damn small! pistachios are the BEST! i don't buy them because it is physically impossible for me to eat less than about 120 of them at one sitting.

    Use an entry that does the edible portion by weight. Then shell and weigh yours. That's the best way to get an accurate cal count.

    Do not go by volume, go by weight it is more precise. Weight is usually shelled.

    The portion guideline I go by is 49 shelled pistachios. This is about 1/3 of a cup and about 160 calories.
