Am I eating enough?

Hello,

I've been active since high school but was never very organized about it. Well, I'm in my 30s and I have to be a bit more careful about what goes in and how much fuel I'm burning.

I've started researching how many calories i should be consuming but I seem to get different answers depending where I look. I'm hoping i can try to find some answers in this community.

I currently am about 6'4, 210lbs. I'm doing about an hour of intense exercise about 5 days per week. Right now I am a day from finishing the month long Soldier of Steel workout posted online.

I put away about 3900 calories today, but some sites are saying I need another 700 or so, but then MyFitness says I'm way over (maybe I'm reading it wrong). I feel hungry most days. I don't eat a lot of junk ...

Thanks for reading!
Sean

You might actually not be eating enough. One hour of elliptical can put me in the 3500 calorie range to lose weight still. You need to feel it out, and know what you want to get out of it. If its losing fat, then probably fine. If you are trying to gain, 5k isnt a bad number.
