ok so i'm a 19 year old girl...i weigh 146 pounds. i wanna lose about 20 pounds so i'm trying to figure out how to deal with all these complicated numbers & what not lol A website says i have a BMR of 1500..thats how much calories i burn per day if i do nothing. I plan on having a daily calorie intake of 1200 calories + i'll probably burn about 300-500 calories a day through exercise. i'm not quite sure how to incorporate these numbers to make sure i have the proper calorie deficit, so is anyone able to help?? (ideally i'd wanna lose 2 pounds per week) thanks for any help!!

oh & i'm so confused by net calories!
on my fitness pal tracker (this is my first day using it) my goal is 1200...i logged 1194 calories worth of food, exercised and burned 459 , so it says my net is 735...is this a good or bad number at the end of the day if i wanna lose weight??

735 is bad. Net AT LEAST 1200 -- and even that is very low.

You should aim to net your BMR or at a minimum 1200. So yes, netting 735 is bad. If you set your calories up to be at 1200, you need to eat back yourexercise calories. Look up In place of a road map in the search box, it's pretty helpful for those just starting out.

There are a lot of helpful threads "stickied" to the top of each of the forum categories. I would start there then ask followup questions.

Start by computing your TDEE also:

Please post results to get some help with this. Your calorie goal should not be below 1200 (or probably even 1200).

Eat at TDEE - 20%, calculate proper macros, the end

She joined this month. She doesn't even understand the very basics. Seems like this wouldn't be very helpful?

minimum a female is supposed to net is 1200 calroies so eat those exercise calories back especailly if your daily goal is 1200. MFP has already set a deficit into your daily goal so you don't have to worry about that if you are using their method.
