New to myfitnesspal, and surprised this class isn't already listed. How do others list this workout, since it's a combo of cardio and weight training?

I list it as cardio and wear my HRM for calorie burn. While there are weights involved, it's really a cardio session, not strength training IMO.0

I take a Group Power class which I believe is the same thing. I take it 3 days a week. Like the above poster I wear a HRM for an accurate calorie burn total. I average around 300-400 calories burned in the 60 min class. I also also warm up with a 15 min jog on the treadmill to get my heartrate elevated before class. Then I log it under cardio and choose "Strength training (weight lifting, weight training)"

Oh for me it's definitely weight training. At some points during the class I've got 40lbs plus the bar going! I couldn't do that in the beginning! The definition in my muscles show it too. Thanks for responding though!0
