Exercise calories

So, I have a question. I am given my base calories. Each day I run at a deficit from that base goal due to my workouts consuming some calories. Is that a good thing? I don't starve myself, but I also do not eat all the calories I am supposed to most of the time. I have hit a plateau and am wondering if i have inadvertently entered starvation mode. Thoughts?

That is something I struggled with in the past too. Because we don't always burn the calorie amount it says here on MFP. What I was told is to eat back some of the calories you burn, but not all. Like half of them, and still have a positive amount of calories left. Thing is, if you don't eat back those calories you can actually gain weight from too few calories. I hope that helps, I am not skilled at explaining things.0

At the end of the day your Net calories should say whatever your goal calories are and your Remaining calories should say 0.
It is not a good thing and will result in losing more lean muscle mass.0
