Back after 12 months ....

Hey all!

So yeah im back after going at it 12 months alone. Can proudly say i havent gained a 1lb but indeed i need to shift my backside back into shape!

Bit of back ground about me .... Ive been on this weight loss journey for about 2 years (i new it wouldnt be a 'quick fix' but a lifestyle change) I started out at 18st 5lbs (257lbs) i currently weigh in at 12st 8lbs (176lbs). i am very proud that ive lost 81lbs. Believe me it has not been easy! ive cried, screamed and shouted, broke down, you name it ive felt it! My ultimate goal is 10st (140lbs) and a comftable dress size 10/12 (currently at size 14) so i know i have a way to go! so here are my mini goals so far:


*lose a minimum of 1lb a week
*get my butt back to the gym
*lose 1inch a month (small goal i am aware)
*drop a dress size by Christmas (again i know its a small goal ... and jeeezzzz im thinking of christmas already, yikes!)
*eat my 5 a day :)

Would love to gain some support and friendships :) and in return id love to give advice and support to anyone out there who wishes it!

  • Keep at it, you will get there! TIme is all you have , and that's all it takes to get there, MOTIVATION! You have came thus far! Damn I should be telling myself this lol! KEEP up the good work!

    Wow Roxy, You are awesome. I know 2 years is a long time but you are doing it. Years are going by fast these days. It was just my birthday a few months ago and the year is already 1/2 over. So 2 years doesn't seem that long. I want to be like you when I grown up. I'm a size 18 weighing in at 268. 2 years ago I was 235 and dropping then I lost my job and got up to 280 but have been working at it and lost a few lbs. But I'm doing it slowly. I'm just trying to get my calories right and all those other things: sugar and protien are now my issues...taking in a little more than usual so trying to balance it all out right.

    Anyway, welcome back and congratz on your downsizing!

    Feel free to add me. I have similar goals to you. In one month I really want to buy a sun dress that is a size 10 which ( I am currently at a comfortable 12). So I am really trying!
