I've been reading "You Are Your Own Gym" by Mark Lauren and I'm finding it fascinating. You can do all sorts of bodyweight exercises at home which are great for beginners and advanced lifters alike. More here: http://www.marklauren.com0

You can do body beast (which is what I am doing). It's a beachbody workout (the guys who made Insanity/P90X/T25) It requires either a bench or a stability ball, a pull up bar, and weights. That's all. It's decent.0

I started with short and long stretch tubes and 3 lb. weights, gradually increasing repetitions and then weight. Consistency has been key. I rarely push my workouts passed what I can sustain daily.0
