I am curious .... I live in Arizona and it is raining today. I am watching the news and you would think it is an event that happens only once in a 100 years. No joke, weather comes on and it's a weather alert! The news station sends a camera team outside to photo graph the rain falling. In 15 minutes they covered the Weather Alert 3 times.

So my question is. wherever you live do your television stations get stupid about simple weather. I mean they are talking about puddles on the roadways ... geez!

Hahaha. I noticed that after moving to Phoenix from Oklahoma. People do freak out here about relatively mild weather. What they call the "monsoon season" is a joke.

Monsoon season isn't a joke and can cause flooding, wind damage, etc. Becuase of the possibility fo these more sever conditions they put up the alerts. I agree with that.

As far as the sensationalism over the rain, we see the same in other states when it reaches over 100 degrees, were news stations are out every day, all day talking about how amazingly hot it is. We just laugh.

I was born in raised in AZ, and remeber how SUCKY the moonsoon season was! Now here in Georgia for the other half of my life it's always moonsoon season! haha! But seriously people here in the south FREAK out over the slightest mention of the "S" word you would think it's the second coming....shelfs are cleared of milk, bread, eggs and I'm over here like do we have a enough beer and meat to last if we do get stuck in!
