JM Body Revolution or Focus T25

Help me decide...I need to get back into a routine. Should I do Focus T25 or JM Body Revolution. The 30min programs work best for me. I've done several JM programs and really enjoy them. I've done Insanity, didn't love it, but it wasn't terrible. I'm not sure if BR is just repetitive of what 30DR, RI30 might already be.

I did JMBR a few months ago and would definitely recommend it. Not only are there a ton of different workouts, set in Phases, so you don't get bored, but the progression is perfect. The first few weeks may seem easy if you are in decent-good shape already, but they serve as a foundation for the rest of the workouts.

Unlike Insanity, JMBR does use weight and resistance bands, which was phenomenal for my weight loss and muscle gain. Focus T25 is similar to Insanity, but obviously much shorter. I am not the biggest fan of Insanity as it is very tough on my knees and does not incorporate weights.

    JMBR all the way! :)

I love T-25! Im finishing week one tomorrow. Best part is Tania from Insanity is there to modify every move! Some of the higher impact leg work I cannot do because of shin splints. Best part it is only 25 minutes. I have not done the other workout though. I find Shaun T very motivating in T-25. Very different from how he was in Insanity.

I've just started month 3 of JM Body Revolution, and have today ordered Focus T25 in preparation for when I complete Body Rev. I have done Insanity and lots of Jillian, but seeing as I started out with Jillian I followed the same pattern so got back into my workouts with Jillian first, then braving it back to Shaun T in August! So you might want to start out with Jillian, either way they are both really effective 30 minute workouts! I can see myself revisiting Body Revolution again (well, maybe not some of the workouts in particular that I HATE!) But Body Rev has a great variety of workouts that changes every two weeks.

I'm doing Body Revolution right now and I love it so much. It's easy to follow, but still challenging and it's extremely well rounded. I'm sure that T25 is as well, but from what I know, Shaun T's workouts are pretty advanced. I would do Body Revolution first. It's a lot more difficult than her previous workouts, but it's still familiar enough to be easy to follow. The way I see it, 30DS, Ripped in 30, etc are beginner. Body Revolution is intermediate. And anything by Shaun T is advanced. Not saying that it's a strict rule, but from what people have said and what I've done, that's what I've gathered.

Starting week 4 of T25, and I LOVE it! It's no joke & 25 minutes non stop but it goes sooo fast! As for which you should choose totally depends on you. Don't let Shaun T intimidate you! When I started I was 7 weeks post partum with our 3rd child and hadn't kept up any exercise while pregnant. The 1st week I had to modify a lot, but now I can hang with the nonmodified moves almost the whole time. I can't believe how much stronger I've gotten in such a short time. Also Ive gotten great results for such a short time. The end of week 3 I had lost 3.5lbs & 6 inches overall. My husband is also doing it & so far he's lost 5.5 pounds and 5 or 6 inches all over too. Neither one of us have started super overweight, but definitely not in shape and we find this program so doable. K I'm off my soapbox!! good luck deciding!!
